Short Narrative

The Threeopeds
In Space 9000 million miles from Earth there is a planet called Meros,
with bright and beautiful oceans filled with fascinating creatures that
can breathe air but also breathe underwater. With their webbed hands
to help them swim and bright pink and blue skin that shines bright in the sun,
these creatures are Threeopeds. Merocaly, the king, with his three eyes,
stands extremely tall watching over his children as his third eye sees the
future and the future doesn't look too good so far...

As the suns shines on the bright, blue, flat ocean there lay a human called
Sam, passed out in the clear waters of Meros. Merocaly had a vision of
someone laying in his waters so he sent his daughter, Awhina, to have a
look.

She walked to the waters
to see but when she got there she was very confused, she has never
seen anything like it. She cautiously observes before she approaches.
Slowly waddling over towards him she screams as Sam rises up from the

water. Awhina quietly walks away but she hears more than one person
talking. As quiet as she possibly can she tiptoes over toward the sounds
of talking trying to listen. As she approaches she sees more than one person,
there is too many to count. She hears someone walking towards her and tries
to get away but Sam grabs her and covers her mouth and puts her to sleep.

Zali was at home with the king as he was about to die. Zali was crying But
Mungalo walks in.
“May I Speak to you in private please?” asked the king.
“ Sure father,” replied Mugalo. Zali leaves
“ I want to you to have my ring and you will become king” the king told Mungalo.
“I can't,” replied mungalo.
His father hands him the ring and The boy puts it on his finger as his father
dies
beside him. He walks off trying not to cry but as he steps outside he has his
first vision and it is of Awhina she been kidnapped. He Sprints furiously  to
find her but as he gets closer he gets zapped by something …she is gone.

As Mungalo searches for his sister he runs into a problem. His mother has
called the whole planet into one big circle to farewell to loss of the king
but the bad thing is it is so easy for someone else to get kidnapped because
there obviously has to be someone else on the planet for awhina to be
kidnapped.

He sprints to his mother to tell her but out of the conner of his eye he sees
someone he doesn't know and doesn't look like a thrreopied so he trys not
to make a seen so know one is scared but as he gets closer his mother
screams has she is being taken away with a random guy to whole planet is now
screaming kids crying and mothers in shook. He tries to follow the guy but as
he gets closer he sees a spacecraft that the guy took his mother into.

He think he might have just found the clue to where awhina may be she
is in the spacecraft with mum. As he walks close just to see he spot awhina
chained in to wall and her mum getting dragged past her.
I knew she would be in here but as he tries to get in he thinks that
he might get caught so he waits till dark to break in.

As it gets dark he gears up to go. Walking slowly and steadily
making sure not to get caught. As he gets to the door he sees the
door is already open he is scared it is a trap so before he walks in he grabs
a long piece of wood and sits it long ways in the door so
it doesn't close. He steps over the piece of wood and uses his laser
to break the chains on his sister and mother. It is very hard not to make
noise but as he gets them both out of the chains he hears someone coming

so he jumps out the doors with his mother and sister chucks  the piece of
wood out of the door, closes the dose and looks it with the chains his mother
and sister were chained up in. As he has now chained to doors closes
he press a button on the side of the door that he thought locked the door
from the outside but it then shot off into the stars and the Threeoped live
happily ever after…. Well so they thought “RUN”
